Activities & Themes
Every month our teachers introduce new themes and associated activities. Program appropriate crafts, book projects, games, pretend play and story time are often based on these various themes.
Themes
3 year-old and 4 year-old program themes include Creatures under the Sea, Harvest time, Preparing for Winter and the Holidays, Families, Space, Dinosaurs, Insects & Transportation.
Skills
3 year skills developed throughout the year include establishing routines, line formation, counting, shapes, number sequencing, sorting and patterns, cutting and printing.
4 year skills developed throughout the year include establishing classroom relationships, further cutting and printing skills, sequencing, measurement, early addition and subtraction and patterning.
